MINI-GRANT PURPOSES

Mini-Grants support the mission of LHS PTO to enhance the education and welfare of LHS students and foster communication throughout the LHS community through these methods:

  • Assisting LHS employed educators, counselors, staff, and administrators to realize their concepts and ideas for the betterment of the LHS community.

  • Supporting LHS employed educators, counselors, staff, and administrators in their professional development.

  • Funding efforts that result in an enhanced learning environment and experience for students at LHS.

  • Funding initiatives that fall outside of the LPS budget and outside of the “department funds” provided each year by LHS PTO.

LHS Mini-Grants are accessible and agile. As an organization that is exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, LHS PTO takes advantage of the fact that we are allowed to support efforts at a reduced cost, as long as any items purchased are approved by the LPS District.
